The REconomy Project began in 2011 with the intention of creating the conditions for place-based regenerative economic change. Since then, in Totnes, we have developed the REconomy Centre co-working space, the Local Entrepreneur Forum, the Devon Convergence and other interventions that have helped new kinds of entrepreneurial activity sprout in our town and the surrounding territory. We're also part of an international REconomy of Practice that is helping to connect regenerative entrepreneurs, 'meta-entrepreneurs' and 'new economy' activists.
In this session, you'll hear the story of how it began, the approach and the lessons learned. Hopefully, participants will come away inspired and ready to apply some of the learning in their own regions.
