Rob Hopkins

Author, Founder of Transition Movement

Rob Hopkins is the founder of the Transition movement. He is an artist, activist, father, gardener, swimmer and print-maker. He is the author of several books including, most recently 'From What Is to What If' which explores the importance of creating the right conditions for the imagination in our culture. He hosts a podcast series called 'From What If to What Next'. He argues that 'what if' are the two most powerful words in our language. He is also the founder director of New Lion Brewery, the UK's first 100% community-owned brewery, he blogs at robhopkins.net, and he is in great demand as a public speaker and a leader of workshops. @robintransition.
